If you see an error related to Retrieving the COM class factory (when opening STEGIS) :

This error usually means that : The installation wasn’t run with administrator privileges, or The setup failed to properly register MapWinGIS components in your system.
To fix this:

• Reinstall STE using “Run as Administrator”
  (Right-click the installer and select Run as administrator).
• If the problem persists, manually install the required component:
  Download and install the MapWinGIS Component from this link:
  https://hwstr.ir/Download/MapWinGIS.exe

or

• STE requires the Microsoft Access Database Engine.
• Microsoft Access Database Engine is completely free and you can install it from this link:
  https://www.hwstr.ir/Download/accessdatabaseengine_X64.exe
