STE was born from a bold vision: to create a powerful, user-friendly software that bridges cutting-edge technology with water and sediment modeling. Its roots trace back to the academic journey of STE’s Lead Developer, whose MSc and PhD research focused on flood dynamics, sediment transport, and hydraulic modeling. What began as a scientific pursuit grew into a mission to transform complex environmental simulations into fast, accurate, and accessible tools for researchers and engineers.

Reza Teimouri — the Lead Developer, Software Engineer, and Scientific Researcher — meticulously crafted every aspect of the software, ensuring both technical excellence and scientific reliability. Guided by the academic mentorship of Dr. Amir Ahmad Dehghani, a distinguished water engineering professor and Reza’s MSc and PhD supervisor, and enriched by the practical insights of Javad Teimouri, a seasoned water management expert, STE stands as a product of collaboration between research, technology, and real-world experience.
